Training center for virtual entrep will open in Dagupan City

The first Virtual Entrepreneurship Training and Consultancy in Northern Luzon will open its doors
for Pangasinenses on June 30, 2017. It aims to increase employment rate in the countryside, bring
digital opportunities to the people, increase digital and technical skills of Filipinos even in
rural areas.

Shareable Academy provides skills training for jobseekers, stay-at home parents, out of school
youth,students, PWDs and anyone who want to have their own business at home thru its Skills
Development &Enhancement Program (SDEP) and professionals or employees who want to upgrade
their skills relevant to their jobs are offered short courses in their Continuing Professional
Education Program (CPEP).

Courses range from 2-5 days depending on the trainees’ needs. Graduates can immediately look
for jobs or can start their own virtual business and earn income usually paid in dollars to
help themselves and their families. All they need to have is a computer with a stable internet
connection.

Local government units are encouraged to send scholars for the training to help reduce
unemploymentrate among their young constituents, empower local talent and local businesses
while promoting micro-entrepreneurship and start-ups in their communities.

The training fee ranges from P2,500- P5,000.00 per trainee depending on the course or program
taken.
